First was a drinks reception and presentation which I frustratingly missed due to traffic but I managed a quick swig of prosecco before starting on the store walk. We were shown the new S/S12 collections as well as some classic pieces in the accessories department. I am in love with the pastel Mulberrys and Balenciagas. I took photos of a few stand out clothing pieces for me, including Burberry, Raoul and Karl Donoghue before drooling in the shoe department. Sparkly Dune shoes caught my eye before spotting two pairs of Louboutins I would whisk away in an instant and snapping the pretty yet attention seeking Jimmy Choo's.
A walk around the menswear with the mannequins displaying the upcoming trends for next season, sophisticated traveller - yes please! Along with pastel sorbet shades. The mens Burberry woolen coat exclusive to Selfridges was just perfect and would wear that myself in a heartbeat.
A refueling was scheduled next at the recently opened Rossopomodoro, an Italian restaurant serving the most delicious pizza - I even ate the crusts which I never do! Bruschetta, mozzarella, fresh olives and more prosecco was also in abundance. I will definitely be returning here again.
The last stage which was a suprise to me was a visit to the beauty hall, we had each picked a card with a counters name on it and were treated to make-overs, face mapping, skin consultations and treatments. I was taken to the NARS counter and I can honestly say it was the best make-over i've had. I was taken through the history of NARs whilst having a gorgeous smokey eye applied along with lots of tips and tricks. I will leave the rest for a seperate post as it really deserves it.
Finally I was one of the last to leave and said a few goodbyes and received a lovely goodbag. I can't thank Emma at the Bullring and Rachael at Selfridges enough, I thoroughly enjoyed it all!
