I was kindly invited along to the Spring Summer 12 preview at Harvey Nichols. The day was snowy and freezing cold so a preview as to what we would be wearing in the coming warmer months was an exciting prospect.
A total of six outfits were modelled by in-store Harvey Nichols staff presented by the Assistant Manager of womens wear - Stuart.
Pastels, brights, feminine and girly were all words used to describe what will be seen this year.
These are the looks modelled:
ACNE open back shirt, £190; For All Mankind jeans, £185; YSL Tribtoos, £550; and Mulberry Alexa, £795.
Pinko dress, £205; Pinko suede layered cardigan, £645; Jeffrey Campbell boots, £95; Mulberry Daria satchel, £695.
Philip Armstrong skater dress, £785; Christian Louboutin 160ml heels, £635; Alexander McQueen hard case, £825.
I adored the 90's grunge updated look, the dress is beautiful and the suede jacket drapes perfectly, Pinko is definitely a brand I will look into a bit more. Pastel denim i'm sure is something I will be wearing alot of, i'm currently on the hunt for the perfect shades of pastel peach, green and blue denim.
How lovely is the Mulberry Alexa with rose gold hardwear? I fell in love with another model bag with rose gold finishing and will show you this tomorrow, I can't get it out of my head!
Jefferey Campbell is now being stocked in the Birmingham store and I along with several other bloggers tried on the infamous Lita's. They really are so comfortable despite the towering height and I love the look from the front and back, just not so keen from the side. I did fall head over heals for a pair of studded mocasins by JC which have swiftly made my wishlist.
I hope you enjoyed these looks, more shots from around the store tomorrow.
