Wave your flag. Red, white and blue nails

I attended a lovely event with the Birmingham bloggers for our Nails inc patriotic manicures to promote their new Best of British set.

I opted for a slightly darker blue polish (than the boxed one) called The Serpentine with St James (pillar box red) and Whitechapel (iridescent white) overlapping on the corners of two nails. Then a little holographic glitter was added over the the two accent colours. I love my manicure, I had a little shape first before the polish and it felt such a little treat. I've had several people say they look like gel nails which is down to the lovely shiny polish and topcoat.

I always do my own nails as I find it quite relaxing but it made a nice change and a little indulgence here and there is always good.

I was very impressed with their magnetic polishes, they have the best designs, the metal steel grey colour with fishnet magnet was amazing - very industrial and cool.

A few of the girls had some nail jewellery applied which sparkled and shone.

A few photos from the event. Thanks as usual to the fabulous Emma and the really lovely girls at Nails inc Debenhams Bullring Birmingham.
