I was browsing the Dior counter when a make-up artist asked if I would like to try the new Dior Nude foundation, having day old foundation on I jumped at the chance.
The name Nude implies it may be a natural looking foundation and it is, medium to full coverage with the healthiest glow i've had from a base. I couldn't feel it on my skin and only the smallest pea sized blob was need to make-up my whole face. Sensitive enough to use up to my eyes, it is a beautiful foundation.
I then had the lightest of dusting of powder applied, a few strokes of sheer bright pink blush and a refresh of lipstick.
I urge you to try this if you are in the market for a new liquid foundation - just pop along to your nearest Dior counter for a sample or to have you foundation applied.
I then wandered along to the Dermalogica counter and asked to have my face mapped. The assistant, donned a crazy magnifying glass mask and got up close with my face. My face was in sections and any problems were said out loud to me - Section one was congested..... The rest of the sections were as I thought, de-hydrated with the dreaded fine lines around the eye area.
We then sat down and went through each area and what I could do to help my skin, I already drink two litres of water a day so need some seriously hydrating creams to boost hydration and a multi vitamin mask was recommended for the congestion twice a week. This is all written down for you, your details stored on file in store and I was given some generous samples to take home and try. I shall be packing these for holiday to see how I get on with them.
Have you tried face mapping at Dermalogica?
I then had a wander around the rest of the event.....
