Last weekend for the Easter bank holiday Matt and I flew off to the small Spanish Island of Mallorca. It was the perfect antidote to the cold icy spring we have been having.
We landed late afternoon and after checking in to our hotel on the harbour front we headed out to explore the city.
We started a walk along the the front admiring the boats soaking up the sunny blue skies and stopped off for local beers watching the sunset at a smart marina bar.
The sun had gone down and we started a walk into the city. There are some fantastic buildings some you'll recognise from the photos as being designed by Gaudi.
Last thing in the evening we ate outside at a small tapas bar under the heaters. The best way to start a few days on the island.
