{LUXX Nails} Butter London Royal Navy

Several months ago I was sent and reviewed my first Butter London polish courtesy of Powder Rooms. This is the second of the nail colours i'm showing you.

This is Royal Navy, a classic and chic true navy blue with a glossy high shine finish. If you don't like bright colours I think navy is the perfect subdued colour for spring and summer. It goes with everything.

I found the application great (minus dropping the brush onto my fairly new light grey rug!), this is two coats and a topcoat. I would highly recommend using a base coat too as darker colours can stain your nails.

The colour stayed chip free for 4-5 days which is great for a darker polish. I had some lovely comments too when wearing this, it seems navy nails grab peoples attention!

You can buy the Royal Navy Butter London polish here at Powder Rooms along with a whole range of colours. I'm sure you'll have a few sweet treats slipped into your order too.

You can see the first polish I reviewed Gobsmacked, here. A very unusual textured charcoal grey.

Have you tried navy nails yet?

  2. Gorgeous - love a navy polish. Am SO jealous at how long you manage to keep your manis chip-free for as well. I think I must just be clumsy!!

  4. Perfect! I was just contemplating what color to use today and although I love all the happy corals and oranges out there I feel they clash when I switch looks. I was thinking going with a neutral and this is just what I needed to read. It looks gorgeous on you.

    1. I definitely know what you mean, sometimes an orange or pink just doesn't go with what you are wearing, navy and grey are good all round colours x
